C02: Our Mission in The Reeds

Greetings from the sea of many.

Our mission to assimilate the Reeds has been a success.

We were able to send a small team of devout followers to throw bags filled with Dionea's seeds into the river.

At the same time, they spotted the Governed's army invading the Reeds. They seemed to have captured all but the town centre and some small areas in the north. This is amazing news. We may even be able to turn some of the Governed's troops to Dionea's embrace. The villagers will also be forced to rely on the river for water, expand their minds to Dionea's love.

However, our team was spotted by one of the Governed's scouts so that may twist the vines of our plan a bit. The Governed might have alerted their troops to not consume the water from the river. That is a rather small loss considering that our original target was the villagers.

This leaves you with a choice.

Do we push into the Reeds with our fighter or do start targeting Overwatch.

Pushing into the Reeds would mean we try and capture the area, timing it with the villagers awakening to Dionea. This would give us a massive advantage in taking over the Reeds but we will receive heavy resistance from the Governed.  It'll be a close fight but when we win, we can set ourselves up to capture more territory.

Targeting Overwatch may give us the chance to capture two territories at once. Targeting Overwatch is the safer bet as we won't face as much resistance from their employees as we would against the Governed. However, this would be betting on the seeds taking over the majority of the Reeds.

As always the choice is yours to make.
